Summer has Passed, But the Excitement Continues!

As the leaves change and the weather turns colder, it’s clear that summer has finally has finally gone – but what a summer it as been for the Stacy Chan brand!

We continue to receive great press for our Signature Collection Clutch Bags, as well as some of our upcoming collections.

                    

We had our very first show at Scoop International in London followed by our first Paris Fashion Week in September. It was an exciting week meeting buyers, press and other designers from all around the world and the new collections received great feedback! “I love the shapes!” “These are so unique and you can tell that it is handmade in Italy; the quality is really good.” “I totally get the concept.”

The days were work work work, but in the evenings, I managed to fit in a bit of down time. No matter how many trips I take to Paris, the City of Lights never fails to leave me breathless. We took a boat ride down the Seine one evening for that famous, unrivalled view of the Eiffel Tower and also passed by the Moulin Rouge to snap a photo.

     

Now back in London, there are a number of things to report. We are participating in our very first pop-up store organised by Avant-Premiere called “the showroom presents…” This exciting space in Fulham Broadway features luxury, high-end womenswear, menswear and accessories and runs for two months starting today, 4 November, and ends 23 December. If you are in or near London, stop by to see our Signature Collection in store and also check out the other brands being featured just in time for the holidays!

 

Looking forward, people have been anxiously awaiting our coming collection. The photoshoot for the new clutch bags has just been completed and the images are beautiful. Brainstorming a theme and watching all the pieces come together for that one perfect photograph is always a highlight for me. Here’s a look behind the scenes of the shoot for next season.

And there is more! Next, our clutch collection will continue to expand…literally. To accommodate the ever-growing smart phones that we all can not live without, the newest collections will make more room for that most essential of all devices. Rest assured that the shapes you love will remain the same, but they will come with a bit of extra legroom, so to speak. ☺
